Directions:
From Hwy 101 take 3rd Avenue exit, go West, turn left onto San
Mateo Drive and right onto 4th.
Ben Franklin Court is located between San Mateo Drive and El Camino
Real off of 4th Avenue (Across the street from Noah's Bagels, Jamba
Juice, Starbucks and Blockbuster -- North side of the 4th Avenue at
the cross walk).
Parking Options:
Requires change/quarters: Three hour parking is
available on the top level of the parking garage that runs in the
middle of the block, between 3rd and 4th Avenues. The best way to
access this parking garage is off of San Mateo Drive, turning west
into the parking garage and spiraling up to the top level. When you
descend the staircase, you should take a hard right into the
Benjamin Franklin courtyard where you'll find CHANGE. Requires
quarters.
Street parking in downtown San Mateo, requires change - nickels,
dimes & quarters.
FREE: FREE Parking is available off of 5th Avenue
near the railroad tracks and Claremont, both to the right or left.
This parking area is FREE all day, and they usually have a security
guard walking through the two parking lots.
FREE 2 hour parking on 3rd and 4th Avenues, on the street, on the
west side of El Camino.
FREE street parking in downtown San Mateo on Sundays!
